Transparency Act

All Norwegian companies are expected to map, prevent, limit and communicate how they manage risk related to human rights and decent working conditions through due diligence processes. With «Åpenhetsloven», the expectation is transferred into law.

Libra-Plast has committed itself to maintaining a high ethical standard in its operations, which corresponds to principles of good corporate governance. The company works actively to ensure responsibility in its operations in connection with the production and delivery of goods and services. The requirements we set for our suppliers and business partners are set out in our business ethics guidelines. The company’s supply chains often consist of several links with subcontractors.

This requires prioritization in the due diligence assessment. We prioritize based on an assessment of the risk of potential and actual negative consequences for human rights and decent working conditions, and through our prioritized assessments at all times we will seek to identify, prevent/avoid and reduce potential and actual negative impact. This applies both internally in our own business, in our supply chain and with our business partners.

Libra-Plast AS publishes its report and routines in line with the requirements of the Openness Act. (In Norwegian edition)
